You don't have to be a detective to use a magnifying glass to look for clues. You might want to read something that's too small or look at a detail that's hard to spot. Either way, a magnifying glass helps you spot things you might otherwise miss. Unfortunately, you might not have a magnifying glass just lying around when you need it most. But you probably do have a smartphone!
This blog covers the activities of the PC Computer Club of Rincon Country West RV Resort in Tucson, AZ. The club meets on Wednesday at 7:00 pm from December through March. It is an opportunity to learn more about technology and make new friends.

What's that in the sky?
Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. Time to be sitting out observing the stars and that great big ball we call the moon. NASA has put together a video close-up tour of the moon so you can really see what you are looking at.
On average, the Moon is roughly 384,402 km away from Earth, or about 238,856 miles. The second-densest moon in our solar system (behind Jupiter's Io), it is 1/81 the size of Earth, which, relative to the planet it orbits, is pretty large by moon standards.
Though humanity has been studying the Moon for years, it was not until July 21, 1969, when Neil Armstrong walked on its surface, becoming the first man in history to do so. His Apollo 11 mission was the first of seven that were to send astronauts to the Moon, though Apollo 13 never made it.
In total, 12 people have walked on the Moon, with the last coming in 1972. Since then, many other countries have had missions involving the Moon, and there are more scheduled for the coming years.

Thanks to Dave Kammer for a great presentation on all the Browsers available. He has shared with us this file of his Browser presentation. Click here to view it. You can also download it.This week, we have a speaker from Osher Lifelong Learning Institute from U of A. I think this will be interesting and beneficial since I think our group is full of very intelligent lifelong learners.
Want online places to learn new skills? Check out the Links button at the top of the page. All the links are live. You might find some things that are just for you.
Please bring any ideas for programs next year as we will discuss it briefly at the meeting. Our time is coming to an end. We will have only one more program for the year.
See, we're in good company!
It's been a great year! Thanks for being a part of it. Ann
